The menu begins with the "Los Tentáculos del apasionado" appetizer, featuring octopus carpaccio and black olive tapenade mousse, followed by the "Explosión de amor" sharing appetizer, featuring stuffed pressed potatoes and Spanish filet mignon: chopped solomillo and piquillo peppers. For the main course, Montijo treats us to a 10-hour beef cheek and "Las Mejillas de cupido" Iberian hummus. SPEAKEASY REHAB, AN INTIMATE CELEBRATION OF LOVE
Hidden behind a mirrored door, at the bottom of a spiral metal staircase, is the speakeasy Rehab, an elegantly decorated, subdued room. It aspires to be a Belle-Époque-style boudoir, where people come to seek intimacy and complicity.
For this occasion, the speakeasy offers, in addition to its cocktail menu, a selection of dishes to share. We start with an aphrodisiac buckwheat Maki assortment, with combinations such as poultry with spicy cream cheese, salmon avocado yuzu or asparagus flambéed in cognac with ginger cream. Then there's a ceviche-style scallop carpaccio with rose vegetable petals. Finally, for sweet palates, a chocolate fondant with raspberry and vanilla ice cream.
